Hello and welcome! I’m Laura, a Vedic meditation teacher here to support you in learning how to reduce stress, live from the heart and become more confident and capable in daily life. For a decade I have been practicing and studying within the Vedic wisdom tradition - a 5000 year old body of knowledge on how to live a full and expansive life. Over the years, my great teachers have taught me how to pass this transformative wisdom on and I’m now based in Melbourne sharing this in a very accessible, practical and relevant way. I encourage you to come and learn Vedic meditation with me and become part of our growing community – a community that is about belonging, nurturing wellbeing and living a meaningful life.
I look forward to meeting you!

I’ve been interested in zero-waste since my fashion design days, when I saw first hand the amount of waste that accompanied making a single garment. But is it possible to live zero-waste everyday?

There are many different meditation training courses out there, each with their own benefit. To train as a Vedic meditation teacher, it requires a huge amount of commitment and devotion. And you can see it in those who graduate and go on to share this ‘wisdom of life’ in their communities…
A guide for voting in the upcoming November Victorian State Election. I always say that knowledge is for action. Meditation is a practice to return to us to our natural state of ‘Being’. We then need to take this relaxed, expansive, creative and unified state of consciousness into the world and substantiate it.

But that doesn't mean I wasn't becoming a mother. Because in my 20's I got to work raising my SELF. My own parents did a great job getting me to independence, but there was still a lot of deepening of my sense of self, unlearning, letting go and refining to be done.

Giving is at the heart of what we do, and as part of learning to meditate with Laura, you are also supporting local Australian not-for-profits so they can continue to give to those in need. The three not-for-profits we work with are Oz Harvest, A Sound Life and the Refugee Council of Australia. When you learn Vedic meditation you can choose to feed a family of 4 in need for 2 weeks, gift 3 people living with disabilities music, yoga and meditation sessions, or help provide research, education and advocacy for refugees in Australia.
